This is a little old post and the delay is because I'm concentrating in my 10km run preparation. Finally it's over and have some free time to post everything up. Let's see. The collection of running pack is open for 3 days before the run at Stadium Titiwangsa. I went over to do the collection on Saturday and somehow all the people that we come across that day is involved in the KL Marathon 2010. The guy that's walking on the street, the lady waiting the bus, the couple walking on the park, motorcyclist on the road, the guy that tapau the chicken rice and etc. All carrying the running pack! Phew. Took me a while to get a car park and quickly I run into the stadium.
The stadium is basically empty, I suppose most of the people have already collected their pack on the earlier days. The line up section of the 10km run is almost 4~5 times the length of the Full Marathon or Half Marathon. I suppose majority of the participants are into the 10km run, what to say, it's challenging but still within limit of most ordinary people, like me. The total participants is estimated to be over 15,000 people, so at least 5,000 into 10km? Going to be congested!

Moonlight Cake House @ JB
Introducting my favourite cafe in JB, the Moonlight Cake House located in Taman Gaya. It's just a stone throw away from the Jusco Tebrau.
The Moonlight Cake House has lots of similarity with our local franchise of Old Town or Pappa Rich, serving favourites local food and providing nice ambience for a good seat for either reading / WIFI access. The food variety in Moonlight Cake House is easily double or even triple the list in the older franchise bussiness above, but is the food good? I think so =)

Kafe Impian Recipe @ JB
We are still in Johor Bahru and on the road to continuous hunt for better Nasi Lemak around the town. My friend came across this place named Impian Recipe, which is supposingly famous for its Nasi Lemak. Off we go to catch a lunch and here is the place.
Kafe Impian Recipe located in Taman Molek that served typical Nyonya style foods, including Nasi Lemak.
Reached the door step and can't help to snap this photography. Today Special, basically including all sorts of style that we see "everyday". I'm wondering what so today special on the menu. I suppose they never change the today special menu though. Ok, I'm abit skeptical about this shop, because I dont think I can find a better Nasi Lemak comparing to the Senibong. Let's see.

Ah Wang Steamed Fish Head @ Old Klang Road
This time promoting the all time favourite steamed fish head for me and my wife at Old Klang Road. Ah Wang Bak Kut Teh & Steamed Fish Head is located just along the Old Klang Road beside the New Pantai Expressway Flyover. Although the shop signboard indicate both Bak Kut Teh & Steamed Fish, you can forget about ordering the Bak Kut Teh. It's not good at all, unless you suddenly fancy some Bak Kut Teh in the middle of the night, or else stay away.
I normally do late dinner here and there is no single time that I come without at least 80% of the tables occupied, imagine that. Yes, it's that famous. Yes, the food is good. They shop only open after 6pm and I heard my friend said it close at 4am. Not sure how true, never bother to verify =P I love this place because it's near my house. When we are hungry, we just drive off, take a seat and order our regular without thinking. The food is served in less than 10 minutes, finished it within 15 minutes, and off we go. A quick, healthy and relatively cheap dinner.
The photo is taken when we have finished our dinner, and just look at the crowd. It's almost 10pm.
As you can see from the photos, this place is actually street side set-up so don't expect good hygiene. It's clean enough for a pleasant dinner though, and of course, it's not air conditioned. The only thing that we love is the Garlic Steamed Fish Head, other than other recipe of Asam Style and Chinese Bean Sauce Style.
Highlight of the day, and I think we eat this once every month (I only spent 5~6 days a month in KL only). No matter what style of recipe you are ordering, the smallest serving is RM21 as the photo. It's enough for 2 person, but don't order any other thing, unless you are really hungry. Opt for different recipe if you have more people, it's not bad, just that I prefer the garlic style.
The fish is very fresh without muddy taste. The fish flesh is smooth without much bones, and if you fancy fish belly, this place promise you the most saliva dripping experience, ok, a little exaggerated, but it's that good. Important advice, eat when it's still hot. Once it turns cold, it's not that nice anymore, personal preference maybe. Must try.
